Igbajo Poly appeals to motorcycle operators over hike in transportation

  Johnnuel Omowonuola The management of Igbajo Polytechnic , under the leadership of the Rector, Dr. Ganiyu Abimbola Adebisi, has reached an agreement with the Okada Riders Union to regulate transportation fares between the town and the campus, following concerns raised by students over the recent increase in motorcycle fares . The development comes amid rising fuel prices across Nigeria , particularly the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly known as petrol. The increase has affected transportation nationwide, creating financial pressure for many students who depend on commercial motorcycles for their daily commute to and from the polytechnic.
