In a tightly contested final match, Mass Communication edged out H/O/L—a combined team comprising Health Information Management (HIM), Office Technology Management (OTM), and Library and Information Science (LIS)—with a slim but decisive 1–0 victory. The outdoor charging point, located just outside the station's premises, was originally established to cushion the effects of irregular electricity supply in the Igbajo community. Over time, it became an essential resource for students of Igbajo Polytechnic and local residents, offering a free and steady source of power for charging mobile devices. However, prolonged and frequent use led to the damage of several sockets, disrupting access to the facility. In response, a group of concerned students pooled resources to carry out temporary repairs so that service could continue.
