IGBAJO POLY BEGINS LIVE BROADCAST ON CAMPUS

It was a joyful galore today for staff, students and igbajo community during the unveiling of the transmitter with millions of naira donated to the department of mass communication for live transmission of programmes and improve the journalistic training of the students with the intention of disseminating timely information to the host community and it environs 

Rector, Igbajo Polytechnic, Dr. Ganiyu Abimbola Adebisi 

The Rector Dr Ganiyu Abimbola Adebisi acknowledged the uplifting support and contribution of His Royal Majesty Oba Stephen Ademola Makinde Onigemo 1 Owa of Igbajo Land for his unwavering support to develop the institution and the community at large 

Dr Ganiyu Abimbola thanked the institution Board of trustees and Governing council members and management of the institution for their commitment and dedication towards uplifting the Polytechnic to a world class standard 

He however, lauded the efforts of the mass communication department, describing the installation as a significant step forward in enhancing the constitution's communication capabilities and creating a platform for practical learning for students. 

The Rector Dr. Adebisi, reaffirmed his promise to install a solar power system to ensure the station's smooth running and uninterrupted operation. 

Meanwhile, the station began its operation immediately after the installation with the plan to run twenty four hours (24hrs) uninterrupted broadcast daily

The event was attended by the Deputy Rector, Engineer Monsuru Okandeji, The Registrar, Mr. Olayiwola Onipede, The Bursar Mr. Emmanuel Aina, The Librarian, Mr Ibitoye Adelani, Dean student affair, Mr. Biyi Onipede and other staff member of the Polytechnic.
